We recently conducted 2 LinkedIn Polls:
The survey, which canvassed over 2,000+ (so far) ERP end users across every business size and major job function, directly addressed SAP’s recent comments to bloggers on the causes and importance of what makes ERP projects successful. SPINACT discovered two leading reasons for ERP success:
Organizational buy-in/commitment: 39%
Right Team Skills and Attitude: 45%
Other reasons for ERP project success vary depending on the size of the company implementing ERP. For example, 16.3% of small companies report inadequate skills and experience as a leading factor. 22% of large companies have inadequate training and support for ERP.
1. What made ERP implementations not so successful?
2. What made the implementations successful?
LinkedIn Polls are now coming to an end. I would like to share the results of the Poll with you all and would like to continue the conversation.
